Have you ever seen a photo of a celebrity mere weeks after
having a a baby and they’re flaunting a bikini bod or rocking their size 0
jeans and you just sit there wondering
if there a weird cloning thing going on in Hollywood where some celeb-bot is out for the public to see while the ‘real’
celebrity is at home, unshowered, with
50 pounds to lose and wearing thrown up on sweat pants like every other new
Mom?
In reality, 'normal' women don't have a full staff of trainers, assistants, nannies, mannies, drivers, spray tanners, pool boys, housekeepers, dietitians, personal chefs, and millions of dollars at their disposal, so we'll give celebrities the edge on springing back quicker than most!
Even though my "Minivan" days are far behind me, this book offered so much practical advice - from fashion to working out to hair & beauty to diet tips - it's not just for Moms, although I think it would make a great gift for a new Mom
The author, who was editor in chief at US Weekly, really gives us an inside track on celebs. Inside this hardback book, you'll find 226 pages full of great advice in such chapters as "Hair that looks like you care" - tricks to make you always 'paparazzi ready' and "Put down that chicken nugget" - which let's you know just how those little nibbles throughout the day can really add up.
Then there's "Chic and cool for the carpool" that touches on some great style & fashion tips and "Do your boobs hang low" that talks about plastic surgery. "It's never too late to shed the baby weight" has wonderful pointers on diet and exercise.
This book was just wonderful - covering topics that every woman experiences, in a humorous and practical fashion. I have read this book a couple of times now and still go through it for tips and pointers.
When you're finished, make sure to pop over to the $50 cash giveaway I'm participating in for your chance to win some money right into your Paypal account! Then you can treat yourself to some fabulous beauty or fashion item!
