Scrub Daddy Review & Giveaway - Ends 4/15

I remember first seeing the Scrub Daddy sponge on the show Shark Tank and thought it sounded interesting.  I mean, a sponge that held up for two plus months - without holding an odor - and gets soft when used with hot water and stays firm when used in cooler water?

Sounded interesting, but I didn't rush out to order one on QVC or anything....then I saw it on sale at Shoprite for $2.99 and picked up one.

Let me just say - I'M SOLD!!!  It blows regular sponges out of the water.  This is the one sponge you can use for washing everything...it's a scrubber for pots/pans and can get  soft & pliable to fit into glasses, muffin tins, etc.

The cute little smiley face actually serves a purpose - you stick spoons and other utensils into the mouth, squeeze, and pull...and voila - super clean!

The Scrub Daddy website has a whole slew of uses for this sponge, including using it to exfoliate your skin, using to clean your grill, and cleaning your boots/shoes. Obviously don't use the same sponge for your skin as you would for your shoes!

The best part of the sponge, to me, is that it doesn't get that gross 'sponge' smell -- our sponge is just over two months old and, while we're getting to the point where we need a new one (it's eye is coming apart) - no matter how many smelly things we've scrubbed out of pots - pasta/sauce, onions, garlic ----- this sponge holds no odor and it just feels clean - unlike how regular sponges feel after a bit of use.

Here's our sponge after about nine weeks.  It isn't stained, doesn't stink, and is still as thick as it ever was.

You can find the Scrub Daddy at Amazon, Shoprite, QVC, and Bed Bath & Beyond.

OR....you could win one right here and try it out for yourself!!

I really think you won't want to use a regular sponge again once you try the Scrub Daddy!!

  1. Probably too long - I'm not sure the exact length but once they start smelling a little funky, that's when I throw them away!

  11. I change them out every couple of months because it seems that they only last that long, but I also stick them in the microwave for about 30 to 40 seconds after I use them so that it kills any germs and keeps them smelling fresh.
